The dynamic combination of the 2.13 GHz dual-core processor and 2GB DDR3 RAM, enables this NAS (Network Area Storage) to run several services/tasks simultaneously with minimal degradation in performance.

This unit provides maximum network throughput while surveillance video is being recorded from multiple IP-based cameras, remote users access content, and a replication job runs in the background.

The TeraStation 5400r Rackmount runs on Buffalo’s TeraStation NAS System providing a host of business-class features from network file sharing and security to RAID management, remote access and more. When replicating from 1 TeraStation 5400r Rackmount to another, you can configure failover support to automatically switch the main operation over to the redundant TeraStation if the main unit ever becomes inaccessible.
