Canon’s imagePROGRAF PRO-4000S printer delivers the very best in speed, handling high volumes and delivering outstanding quality prints. Optional Dual roll feed is available allowing the user to have two different sizes or grades loaded ready to feed. This also doubles as a Take Up Unit – longer print jobs can be sent to the take up reel and rolled either inwards or outwards, neatly stored ready for the user to collect and finish later.

We cannot speak highly enough of the Canon PRO-Series in general and specifically the Canon PRO-4000S model. The PRO-Series has been completely redesigned from the previous imagePROGRAF range with a more rigid, sturdy frame which allows the printhead to move faster and the ink distribution across the print to be more accurate than ever. Single printhead technology reduces the consumables making the PRO-4000S efficient to run, whilst delivering superb graphics quality.

The PRO-4000S is the perfect printer for creating high quality pull up banners, roller banners, canvases, posters, backlit films, POS banners and all manner of graphics displays. The long lasting pigment ink will ensure your prints stay vibrant for long term display and the 8 colour cartridges give a wide colour gamut to offer superb image reproduction. The PRO-4000S ensures that colours are consistently matched across jobs which is critical for repeat runs. Canon’s Print Studio Pro Plugin is a great tool giving enhanced print management features for Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Canon’s Digital Photo Professional. (NB The Print Studio Pro Plugin does not support Indesign.)

CANON IMAGEPROGRAF PRO-4000S

INKS – The Canon PRO-4000S Printer has an 8 colour pigmented ink system with Canon’s new LUCIA PRO ink – specifically developed to give incredible colour clarity and enhanced darker print areas.  The PRO-4000S Printer comes with a generous set of 330ml introductory ink cartridges in the box giving you plenty to set up and start printing straight away, and the replacement ink cartridges are available from stock in three sizes. ‘Hot swap’, as with most Canon models, allows the user to change the ink ‘on the fly’ and not waste any valuable time or paper.

ORIGINAL CANON SUPPLIES – The Canon PRO-4000S is only intended to be used with genuine Canon cartridges with a Canon original chip. Cartridges using a non-Canon chip may not work and may damage your machine or the printhead.

 

DUAL ROLL – The optional Dual Roll Unit (RU-41 – 1152C002AA) can be purchased either with your Canon PRO-4000S machine or separately at a later date.  Dual roll offers the opportunity for dual roll feed (two different grades or sizes ready to go) or can be switched to allow print take up. Longer print runs can be wound onto the spindle (face in or face out depending on the finishing technique required later) to enable the user to store them safely until ready to finish. Choose to add Dual Roll from the drop down menu before purchase.

CONNECTION – The Canon PRO-4000S Printer is dispatched with a free data cable – you can choose a 5mt Ethernet Cable for connecting the machine to your network or a 5mt USB cable for connecting it to your PC – we will check which type you require when raising and processing your order.

 

MEDIA – The Canon PRO-4000S takes a huge variety of media rolls from 297mm up to the full width 1118mm and sheets can be individually loaded should you require a specific small run on a specific sheet media. You can choose from our ranges of uncoated, coated matt, photo satin, gloss and lustre, film, canvas, banner and self adhesive media, providing a wide range of choices across all print types. DELIVERY – In most cases we would highly recommend having your PRO-4000S installed by our trained engineers. They will be able to set up the printer and give training, which can be critical for a swift start to your printing and will inevitably show the end users features and functions that may really help with their workflow. Obviously some customers choose to take the free pallet drop delivery and set up the machine themselves.
