Resistive Touchscreen
Touch-sensitive computer displays composed of two flexible sheets coated with a resistive material and separated by an air gap or microdots. Resistive touchscreen technology works well with almost any stylus-like object, and can also be operated with gloved fingers and bare fingers alike. -
Capacitive Touchscreen
Capacitive touchscreen displays rely on the electrical properties of the human body to detect when and where on a display the user touches. Because of this, capacitive displays can be controlled with very light touches of a finger and generally cannot be used with a mechanical stylus or a gloved hand.
