The Sonifex AVN-PM8 is a web-enabled mix engine that allows you to stream any of its 8 mic/line inputs or 16 digital AoIP (Audio over Internet Protocol) input channels to any of its 8 stereo analog line outputs or 64 AoiP streaming output channels. The XLR inputs feed preamps with up to 60 dB of gain available and 48V phantom power is individually selectable for use with condenser microphones. The unit allows you to alter the signal gain at the input, the mix point, or the output and a high-pass filter can also be applied to all inputs and outputs.

The AVN-PM8 supports the RAVENNA and AES67 protocols, and AoIP input streams are discovered and output streams are advertised using Avahi/Bonjour and SAP, allowing the unit to support AES67-enabled Dante networks. The flexible design means the portal to be used in a variety of applications including generating stereo clean feeds, sending IFB streams to connected beltpacks, 8-output zone mixing, and distributing mixes to headphone monitoring stations.
