Kramer AV 613R/T

Kramer’s 613R/T is a high-performance receiver/transmitter pair for digital video signals up to 3G HD-SDI. This transmitter and receiver pair use multi-standard operations SDI, HD-SDI, and 3G HD-SDI. They work by the 613T converting 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and DVB-ASI (Digital Video Broadcasting –Asynchronous Serial Interface) digital video signals to optical signals. It then transmits them over single mode fiber optic cable to the 613R that decodes the optical signals back into electrical 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and DVB-ASI digital video signals. With a supported resolution up to 1080p and 3G-SDI format, this pair is a great solution for use in digital flat panel and plasma displays for medical, commercial, and travel applications. As well would be ideal for conference rooms, auditoriums, LED signboards in streets and stadiums, or for at Kiosks with digital flat panel displays for presenting information.

The 613R/T features Kramer’s Equalization and “re-Klocking” technology which rebuilds the digital signal to travel on longer runs, using a fiber cable (single-mode fiber optic with ST connectors). This allows for a system range of up to 18.6 miles at 3G HD-SDI (1080p), and has a maximum data rate of up to 3Gbps. Other features include HDTV compatibility, a latch locking mechanism for the power supply to prevent the power from disconnecting due to misuse, includes power and status blue LED’s, and does not require any special memory size, CPU speed and chipsets, when using a computer. Both the 613T and 613R come in a small standalone, metal die-cast enclosure which makes them suitable for use in the most demanding and rugged applications.
