The SDW 5016T Single-Sided Wireless DECT MS Teams Headset with Base Station from EPOS is a headset and base combo that is specifically designed for business professionals who require clear and secure communication solutions. This EPOS IMPACT SDW 10 HS headset connects to PCs, desk phones, and mobile devices through the use of the included EPOS IMPACT SDW 5 BST T base station and the included mini-USB to USB-A cable, audio phone cable, and USB-A Bluetooth dongle. Once both the headset and base station are connected to your host device, you can get up to 10 hours of battery life off of a one hour charge. Charging may be done on the included base station or on a PC using the included USB cable. The 10 hours of battery life can be used while walking at a distance of 591′ with a clear line-of-sight to the included base station. Your conversations are made to sound clear, regardless of background noise due to the two noise-cancelling microphones built into the adjustable boom mic.
The IMPACT SDW 5016T features physical controls on both the headset and base station. The physical controls allow you to answer/end calls, increase/decrease volume, mute audio, initiate calls, manage calls, choose your focused device, and more. This headset also allows for voice prompts that indicate how much battery life is left. Alternatively a guest Bluetooth/USB headset can be used by directly connecting it to the base station using a wire connection or through the USB-A dongle. EPOS has made sure that this headset is Microsoft Teams certified, so you can be confident in full compatibility with the widely-used application.
EPOS Manager
This cloud-based tool allows IT staff to control the device, such as disabling Bluetooth, call merging & conferencing mode as needed as well as manage updates and configurations from a central location.
