The NEOxl 40 provides a good transition point from the small form factor, non-scalable, budget-sensitive NEOs StorageLoader and NEOs T24 to the larger form factor, scalable, enterprise-class NEOxl 80. This gives customers in that 30-50 slot range an option, besides the NEOs T48, if they want to add some extra investment protection by going with a scalable platform vs. a static platform.
