This 1 RU rackmount NAS enclosure supports up to four 2.5″ / 3.5″ SATA III drives, which can be configured in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, JBOD, or Single mode to balance between speed and security. By combining the two 2.5GbE RJ45 Ethernet ports using link aggregation, the TS-432PXU-2G-US can achieve read speeds of up to 492 MB/s with 582 MB/s in RAID 5 mode using SSDs. Read speeds jump to about 2040 MB/s with 676 MB/s write speeds when using the dual 10Gb SFP+ ports with fiber connections to compatible devices. Performance can be further enhanced by installing an M.2 solid-state cache drive adapter, a 10Gb Ethernet card, or other compatible expansion into the available PCIe 2.0 x2 slot.
