Altinex MT310-104

The MT310-104 from Altinex is a 16×16 Balanced Stereo Audio Matrix Switching Card for Altinex MultiTasker Enclosure Systems such as the MT302-201. This card will allow any input to be independently switched to any of the outputs. Equally any input can simultaneously drive multiple outputs. All inputs and outputs can be wired for unbalanced stereo audio, or balanced audio allowing longer cables run and superior noise resistance.

This 4-slot sized card works by utilizing AC coupling on its inputs for signal transfer characteristics. Switching is achieved and controlled with easy-to-use commands from a control system or computer connected to the RS-232 port of the MultiTasker enclosure, or through the front panel keys of the MultiTasker system. Input and output connections are accomplished via captive screw pluggable terminal blocks. Even though this Card was designed to be a 16×16 matrix switcher the MT310-104 can be used in a variety of ways to provide different capabilities adding a deeper level of end user flexibility. For example it can be used to create two 8×8 audio matrices or a 4×4 and a 2×2 audio matrix. Each stereo pair on this card is switched together; you cannot switch the left and right channels of an input independently. The MT310-104 also features individual gain control on each input via the RS-232 control or through the front panel keys. This card comes backed by a lifetime warranty from Altinex.
