Designed for servers, the AMD FirePro S9050 Server Graphics Card features a passive cooling solution. Internally, 3.23 TFLOPS of peak single precision performance can be leveraged by CAD, office applications, or other GPU dependent applications using APIs such as DirectX, OpenGL, and OpenCL. A single DisplayPort output is offered for debugging if necessary, though this card is not primarily purposed towards driving displays. The passive cooling solution used by the S9050 has no moving parts for improving reliability while reducing power consumption and noise. However, the design is dependent on the server’s internal airflow (minimum of 20 CFM) to cool the GPU.
