AVer M15WĀ Overview
TheĀ M15WĀ isĀ AVer‘s highly compact document camera designed as a flexible solution for educators and students. It captures and outputs up to UHD 4K60 video and allows up to 23x digital zoom of any part of the image. Featuring a built-in battery and peer-to-peer (P2P) Wi-Fi technology, the M15W can be connected to your Mac or Windows computer wirelessly from up to 45’ away, so this document camera is easy to pick up and carry around the classroom. Take it to a student’s desk, for example, and adjust the arm and rotating camera head on the fly to position it over a student’s class project, and have the image transmitted over Wi-Fi to a computer monitor or projector screen at the front of the class. At the same time, traditional HDMI and USB outputs allow you to set up a wired connection.
With high resolution video, a built-in mic, and streamlined access to Skype and Zoom live streaming, the M15W also provides an easy workflow for remote distance learning. The camera has a large shooting area of 16.8 x 12.3″, meaning you can capture both sides of most open books or magazines, as well as large objects. When you’re ready to pack it away for the day, or to move it to another classroom, the M15W folds up to a compact 11 x 3.3 x 1.7″ footprint.
The included Mac/Windows AVerTouch software, provided as a free download, lets you easily set up the camera to display on the big screen and to get creative with comprehensive multitasking and editing tools. It also allows you to save your recordings to the Cloud with a simple click. (Cloud services are optional.)
A power supply is included for charging the built-in battery or operating the M15W with continuous power.
