The Cisco Catalyst 6513 Firewall Security System with Supervisor Engine allows customers to order a Cisco Catalyst 6513 firewall system that includes a Supervisor Engine 720-3BXL and a Firewall Services Module (FWSM). Each bundle can be configured with up to four FWSMs to deliver 20 Gbps of performance. The FWSM for Cisco Catalyst 6513 Switch and Cisco 7600 Series Routers is a high performance, integrated stateful inspection firewall with application and protocol inspection engines, providing 5.5 Gbps of throughput; 100,000 connections per second; and one million concurrent connections.
