PROBLEM: Insertion of unsupported SFPs (small form-factor pluggable optics) into a WS-X4448-GB-SFP module can cause undetected communication failures between the supervisor engine and the corresponding module. Subsequent insertion or removal of SFPs from the module is not recognized by the system.
SOLUTION: Reset the module with the hw-module module reset command.
