Convert and extend SDI video to HDMI output over fiber with this BlueBox 3G/HD/SD-SDI Fiber Optic to HDMI Converter with ST Connector from Cobalt. This portable converter inputs an SDI signal via the ST fiber input and converts it to HDMI 1.4a or DVI-D output. It supports SMPTE 424M, 259M, and 292M standards and up to 1080p60 video.

The converter can be used to extend video up to 6 miles at the highest supported bandwidth of 3 Gb/s an up to 22 miles at 270 Mb/s using single-mode fiber input and output. You can also output video locally to an SDI loop output as well as converting the signal to HDMI output. A stereo analog output is also available to output embedded audio to analog destinations such as speakers. The converter can be powered using the included power adapter or from an optional mini-USB source, and they can be used together as redundant power.
