The RocketRAID 4522SGL 8-Channel External SAS/SATA PCIe 2.0 Hardware RAID Controller from HighPoint supports up to eight external SAS or SATA 6 Gb/s physical links. Featuring an on-board processor and 512MB DDR3 cache memory, it is suitable for use with a wide array of servers and workstations. This low-profile host bus adapter uses a PCI-Express 2.0 x8 bus interface, and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and JBOD configurations.
