HighPoint SSD7104F Overview

Boost your workstation’s storage capacity and performance by installing the HighPoint SSD7104F 4-Channel M.2 PCIe 3.0 NVMe RAID Controller into an available PCIe 3.0 x16 slot. Up to four M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe solid state drives can be installed into the controller in RAID 0, 1, 10, or Single configuration to deliver up to 14 GB/s of transfer speeds. Integrated Smart-Switching technology allocates x4 dedicated lanes to each drive to help ensure optimal performance. HighPoint’s Cross-Sync technology allows you to configure two SSD7104F NVMe RAID controllers to function as a single array, delivering up to 28 GB/s for demanding tasks such as 8K video editing. Its full-length anodized aluminum heatsink has a low-noise fan built into it to help ensure optimal temperatures for sustained data transfer speeds. This full-height RAID controller is designed to work with Windows, MacOS, and Linux-based systems.

Full Fan Control on Mac
Users can individually track the temperatures of each NVMe SSD through the HighPoint management interface. Select from three different speed settings or turn the fans off completely for silent operation.
