HighPoint SSD7540 Overview

Enhance your storage to handle demanding applications with the SSD7540 PCIe 4.0 x16 8-Channel M.2 NVMe RAID Controller from HighPoint. Designed for professionals and enthusiasts who need a high-performance RAID system, the SSD7540 installs into an available PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and supports up to eight M.2 NVMe solid-state drives with a maximum capacity of 64TB. The full height controller can be configured for RAID 0, 1, or 10 mode for enhanced speed and security, transferring up to 40 GB/s. Additionally, you can configure the SSD7540 for bootable RAID or single NVMe SSD configurations for Windows and Linux systems. Its cooling system features a full-length anodized aluminum heatsink with dual low-noise fans that provide efficient heat dissipation and maintain optimal performance. The SSD7540 is designed to work with Windows 10, Windows Server 2016 or later, macOS 10.13 or later, and Linux 3.1 or later systems.

PCIe 4.0 Interface
The SSD7540 takes advantage of the high-speed PCIe 4.0 bandwidth to deliver up to 16 Gb/s per lane with compatible devices, with a total data throughput of up to 40 GB/s. It is also backward compatible with PCIe 3.0 devices.
Hyper-Cooling System
HighPoint’s Hyper-Cooling solution includes a full-length anodized aluminum heatsink with dual integrated low-noise fans, and a highly conductive thermal pad to help maintaining optimal temperatures and prevent speed throttling.
Bootable RAID Configurations
RAID 0 provides maximum performance with a minimum of two drives for fast bootups.
RAID 1 delivers enhanced security by creating a mirror duplicate of target drives.
RAID 10 requires at least four drives to provide both speed and security, making it the ideal configuration for fast and secure bootups.
