HP DESIGNJET T2530PS DUAL ROLL A0 MFP (L2Y26A)

The HP DesignJet T2530PS is a fully networkable, wireless, postscript, multifunction printer for mid to high volume users. The T2530PS is a 6 ink multi function printer with integrated scanner and colour touchscreen offering simple to use scan, copy and print functions and direct USB stick printing.  The HP T2530PS is a dual roll MFP taking 2 x 90mt paper rolls giving the choice of two grades, two sizes or simply a longer print run without the need to swap rolls and the integrated stacker offers flat, collated prints.

The main difference between the models is that the non-postscript T2530 does not scan to PDF format. Postscript is the Adobe licensed software to interpret PDFs into print language.  When printing PDFs on non-PS devices this is done via third party software which may infringe slightly on quality and colour representation.  We recommend with a 6 colour device of this type choosing the PS version.

The HP T2530PS is a mid to high volume, postscript enabled, multifunctional wide format printer with built-in scanner – ideal for office or construction environments. The HP T2530PS has a slimline and sleek design allowing it to fit seemlessly into smart office environments to offer in house print, scan and copy functions up to A0 size. The HP T2530PS is a ‘dual roll feed’  MFP so you can always have two rolls loaded to provide flexibility when printing. With easy front paper loading, automatic alignment and smart switching all adding to an increased and streamlined workflow for busy users. Two 91mt rolls also enables unattended printing to improve the way you work.

Ideal for professional CAD and GIS drawings with consistent color accuracy crisp, sharp lines, up to 2400 dpi. The HP T2530PS has a huge 128 GB virtual processing memory and a 500GB hard drive offering a super fast printing speed of 21 seconds per A1 print with a guaranteed minimum line width of 0.07mm.

Scanning on the HP T2530PS is at speeds of up to 6.35 cm/sec (2.5 in/sec) for colour and up to 19.05 cm/sec (7.5 in/sec) for mono.

Developed to be easy to install and simple to use, the HP T2530PS is user friendly and simple to operate and works wherever your Wifi signal can reach with just one power cable. The HP T2530PS can also be connected via Ethernet cable to any network. Note the HP T2530PS does not connect via USB direct to a PC – the standard Data Cable pack which is sent out with the HP T2530PS contains both Ethernet and USB cables, but only the Ethernet cable is required if you wish to connect the machine to your network. Users can scan to, and print directly from a USB stick on the HP T2530PS.  It comes with both Windows and Mac drivers.

Ink cartridges using a non-HP chip may not work, and those that work today may not work in the future. GDS stock the full range of original HP supplies for the HP DesignJet T2530.

SECURITY – Protect your data with IPSec, NTLMv2, SNMPv3, 802.1X, PIN printing, and more security options.  Options such as Secure Disk Erase (available for all T2530 models) and Encrypted HD (available only in specific models). Ask us about your specific requirements.

CONNECTION – If you order your HP T2530PS MFP with GDS, we will provide a free HP data cable kit containing the necessary Ethernet cable to connect your new HP T2530PS straight to your network. Although the HP T2530PS printer is Wifi enabled, we recommend this option for printing wide format prints to assist with speed and quality. The Data Cable pack also contains a USB cable – this will not be required as connection is Ethernet only.

PAPER – Again, if you choose to order your new HP T2530PS MFP with us, we will send you two free 90gsm Matt Coated Paper rolls – 841mm x 45mt to get you started. The HP T2530 takes paper rolls from 297mm up to the full width 914mm with 841mm (true A0 sheets size) being the most popular choice for printing A0.
