The 1 RU 8×4 4K HDR HDCP 2.2 Matrix Switcher with Digital Audio Routing from Kramer allows you to switch between eight HDCP-compliant HDMI inputs to any or all four HDMI outputs at up to 18 Gb/s data rate. All the inputs and outputs support ARC for independent audio routing, producing a 12×12 audio matrix.

The unit supports embedded audio, up to 4K60 4:4:4 resolution, and features EDID management, HDCP 2.2/1.4, 16 presets, smart switching, a pattern generator, as well as IP and RS-232 serial control. Featuring Kramer’s Step-In over HDMI collaboration functionality, the switcher enables active source detection for priority selection or the last connected automatic and manual switching with a supported Step-In supported switch. The 1 RU enclosure allows you to easily fit the matrix onto a standard rack.

High-Performance AV Matrix
Switch eight 4K60 4:4:4, HDR, HDMI, HDCP (2.2/1.4) compliant signals to four 4K60 Hz 4:4:4, HDR, HDMI, HDCP (2.2/1.4) compliant outputs at up to 18 Gb/s data rate. It features Kramer Re-Klocking and Equalization Technology that rebuilds the digital signal to travel longer distances. Note: For optimum range and performance, use recommended Kramer cables.
HDMI Support
Deep Color, 3D, ARC, and up to 7.1 uncompressed audio channels as specified in HDMI 2.0.
Independent Audio Routing
Any embedded digital audio input can be routed to any digital output, in addition to ARC sources, to produce an equivalent 12×12 audio matrix (eight embedded digital inputs + four ARC inputs and four digital outputs + eight ARC outputs).
Easy Step-In Collaboration Function
When used with a Kramer Step-In enabled switcher, just plug in your device and press the Step-In button and your device becomes the active signal on the main display.
EDID Management
Individual EDID management per input and it captures and stores the EDID from a display device.
Flexible Content Protection
Selectable HDCP 1.4 or 2.2 per input.
