Fed 4 video signals up to 4K resolution via HDMI and one VGA input into the Kramer VP-440X 18G 4K Presentation Switcher/Scaler with HDBaseT & HDMI Simultaneous Outputs. This switcher/scaler is a compact, high-performance 4K UHD device that scales the video, embeds input analog audio, and outputs the signal to an HDMI and an HDBaseT output simultaneously. The VP-440X supports HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 as well as EDID passthough, so you don’t have issues on your display monitor. It also supports HDR 10 for video images with expanded dynamic range. The HDBaseT output allows you to send your 4K60 Hz (4:2:0) signals up to 130′ using separately available Cat copper cables. Control the unit via front-panel selection buttons, OSD on your monitor, RS-232, or a web-based GUI for control by a PC.

High-Performance Professional Scaler
  • Up-scale, down-scale, and cross-scale up to resolutions of 4K@60 4:4:4 on HDMI, 4:2:0 on the HDBaseT output
  • Set the output resolution to match the native resolution of the inputs, or manually set to another resolution
  • When the VP-440X is configured to scale the output to 18G 4K resolutions, the HDBT output automatically down-samples to 4:2:0 coding
Smooth Switching
Constant output sync prevents output glitches while switching between inputs, even when no video is detected
Digital and Analog Audio
  • Select a dedicated unbalanced analog audio input to embed into each input, and you can use the microphone input for mixing, switching, or talk-over
  • Any of the signals can play audio through the unbalanced audio output port
  • The VP-440X supports DSP technology including audio equalization, mixing, delay, and microphone talk-over
Signal Extension
  • The VP-440X is HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 compliant
  • You can extend the 4K video signal over HDBaseT up to 130′
  • Supports EDID passthrough
  • Supports CEC signal passthrough
  • Supports bi-directional RS-232 signals
Control Options
Control the VP-440X using an OSD on your monitor, via front-panel buttons, embedded web pages via Ethernet and/or serial communication via RS-232 transmitted by a PC, touchscreen system or other serial controller
