TheĀ Lab.Gruppen CM41Ā is a four-input, one-output commercial mixer well suited for distributed audio in bars, restaurants, retail destinations, hotels, corporate, education, or other venues needing background music and/or a public-address system. The mixer offers a configurable priority muting function for background music override, great for making announcements.
The rear panel offers four mic/line input channels that sum to mono. Channel A features a 3-pin Euroblock input with two additional pins that activate the priority function when shorted together. Channels B, C, and D offer balanced 3-pin Euroblock connectors and a pair of unbalanced RCA connectors (summed to mono) for connecting stereo sources such as players, phones, computers, and more. A 3-pin Euroblock output is provided for connecting to additional devices. The RJ45 port allows the mixer to be controlled via Ethernet from a broad range of remote-control options, such as the CRC-V Series of wall-mount controllers and the stylish tabletop controller, the LAB.Level (sold separately).
The front panel sports a power button and volume controls for each channel as well as a master volume control. Additionally, bass and treble controls are provided that allow you to dial in your best sound. The brushed, anodized aluminum enclosure is painted black with a steel bottom and can be used on a desktop or shelf thanks to the included four rubber feet. A rackmount kit is included and allows you several options for installation, including a half 19″ rack or full-rack enclosure as well as a pair of amplifiers can easily be mounted side-by-side in a single rack space. With the included brackets, the CM41 can also be mounted to a wall or under a table/shelf.
