The Link Electronics LEI-560 Analog to SDI Converter is an all-in-one SD analog to digital converter that includes a frame synchronizer and a processing amplifier. It can also convert 1 analog video input to 2 isolated SDI outputs. Equipped with a 10-bit processor, the LEI-560 converter is ideal for broadcasting analog signals. It can be used as a standalone or Genlockable SD analog composite to SD SDI converter in any system.
Using the LEI-560 converter, the input composite analog signal can be converted to 10-bit-parallel data and decoded to 4:2:2 digital component video. In case of loss of input signal, the LEI-560 Analog to SDI Converter offers no output or provides the last frame, field 1, field 2, black burst, and SMPTE color bars. Horizontal and vertical timing signals ensure synchronization between signals. In Genlock mode, the converter auto detects NTSC and PAL video formats.
With the processor amplifier, you can control display features such as luma, chroma, black clip, and hue. Using the rotary encoder, you can adjust the processor amplifier and configure and browse through various menu settings. The front panel is equipped with an 8-character display to indicate the current operating mode of the LEI-560 Analog to SDI converter. With the Enter switch, you can make adjustments to the menu settings, and you can return to previous configurations using the Escape switch.
