Many recording and reading errors are temporary and can be remedied by cleaning the tape drive. By regularly cleaning tape drives, they remain reliable for longer. Clean tape drives at scheduled times and when the drive indicates. This cartridge uses the dry cleaning method whereby no flammable materials are used. With each use, the gap between the recording head and the recording material is cleaned. This product is specially designed to work with all LTO Ultrium tape drives. This product has been tested and validated for Dell systems. Dell provides technical support for this product as long as it is used in conjunction with a Dell system.
