Overview
NETGEAR expands its line of award-winning ProSAFE Smart Switches with a suite of 10/100 Stackable Smart Switches. The ProSAFE Stackable Smart Switches adds the flexibility of modular growth paired with more powerful management feature set and still gives you the ease of use and affordability you expect from ProSAFE Smart Switches. With options of 24 or 48 10/100 ports as well as PoE, the Stackable Smart Switches offer 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports for high speed connectivity. Two of the Gigabit Ethernet ports offer the option of fiber connectivity via Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) GBIC slots for long distance links. This family of switches deliver performance and scalability through a 4Gbps, dual-ring, resilient stacking architecture with the ability to mix and match to stack up to six units or 192 10/100 ports- and manage them all at a single point! The FS752TPS offer PoE on 24 of its 48 ports to drive VoIP phones, wireless access points or IP security cameras. The non-blocking design of all the switches deliver simultaneous, full wire-speed, low-latency throughput to all ports. Shipped ready to go straight out of the box, they deliver switching that’s easy to set up, stack-up and use.
Stacking for scalability and high availability
The stackable smart switch uses 2 dedicated dual-purpose ports in the front of the switch for stacking or uplink. The stacking function offers a 10 Gbps, dual-ring, highly redundant stacking bus that carries intra-stack traffic and provide the highest level of resilience, forming a virtual chassis for easy management under a single IP address.
Comprehensive and advanced feature sets
This stackable smart switch comes with a complete suite of advanced features for more robust security, higher quality of service and high availability. This switch is equipped with highly advanced features such as access control lists (ACL), static routing, rate limiting, IGMP snooping, and dynamic VLAN assignment among others to provide a small and medium-sized business with a network that is geared for growth and network applications. Friendly to converged network with voice and video, the stackable smart switch offers auto voice and auto video features that automatically configure QoS, security and VLAN settings for IP phones and IP cameras.
IPv6 support
In order to accommodate the move by Internet service providers to IPv6 addresses, the Gigabit stackable smart switch expand the IPv6 support beyond management only to QoS, ACL and multicast. It means that your network will benefit from the IPv6 enhancements and is future-proofed.
