Overview

The NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 4-Ports PoE, plug-and-play, compact design, and auto-sensing ports provide easy, reliable, and affordable connectivity for your home or small office network. PoE ports allow for powering IP security cameras, VOIP/Internet-based phones, wireless access points, etc., as well as non-PoE devices, providing power as needed on ports 1-4. LEDs indicate power, PoE maximum power, link activity, speed, PoE active, and PoE fault for ease of use. Other features include a rugged metal case, auto-MDI/MDIX (eliminating the need for crossover cables), jumbo packet support, and energy-e¬fficient technology for power savings (IEEE 802.3az and short cable power reduction).

  • 8 copper 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet ports
  • Ports 1-4 are PoE 802.af capable of providing up to 15.4W per port (but not to exceed 53W total across all active PoE ports)
