The Enteroc N57 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, and JBOD modes. Install up to five 2.5 or 3.5″ hot-swappable 6 Gb/s SATA III drives. Select your preferred RAID mode to take advantage of speed or redundancy.
Built-In Backup and Data Protection
Fully featured backup solutions including manual or scheduled backup for file, folder, and shared files ensure your data is up to date. Back up and restore from multiple local or remote devices, or take advantage of volume clone, snapshot, remote replication, and data copy options.
Built for Business
Compatible with Windows 98 and later, mac, and Linux, this RAID enclosure also supports OpenLDAP protocols. Use attached storage or remote sharing to backup or restore, or backup to the cloud with support for Amazon A3. Additionally, the N57 supports VMware ESXi 5 iSCSI, NFS, and VAAI protocols. Optimized for enterprise performance, the N57 also features an iSCSI target manager with LUN mapping, initiator filtering, thin provisioning, NIC support, trunking, load balancing, failover functions, and more.
Compression and Deduplication
Featuring a robust Data Deduplication option, the N57 reduces storage needs by eliminating redundant data and ensuring that only one unique instance of the data is actually retained on storage media. Furthermore, data compression provides a reduction in storage hardware needs, data transmission time, and communication bandwidth, resulting in data storage cost savings. Both of these features are supported on the ZFS file system.
