With a slim, unobtrusive profile, theĀ Senal MXGN-18CĀ is a 18″ gooseneck condenser microphone with an integrated base designed to provide clear and intelligible speech reproduction for lectures, video conferences, meetings, and more, without obscuring or visually distracting from the speaker. The back-electret condenser capsule features a cardioid polar pattern that clearly captures the voice in front of the mic, while reducing unwanted off-axis ambient sound often present in noisy and acoustically untreated rooms. It supports interchangeable omnidirectional and supercardioid capsules (available separately), which install and remove without tools in seconds.
The MXGN-18C’s shaft features upper and lower gooseneck sections that enable you to precisely position the capsule in front of the speaker for optimal sound. A low-cut filter attenuates rumble by 20 dB at 100 Hz, allowing crisp voice quality devoid of problematic bass tones. Effortlessly activate or mute the mic signal via the programmable silent touch pad on the integrated base. Talk/mute status is clearly indicated by the LED ring below the mic capsule.
The MXGN-18C is operated via 12 to 48 VDC phantom power, and utilizes a balanced XLR output to ensure noise-free signal transmission over long cable runs. The microphone’s rugged metal construction ensures long-lasting performance and dependability, even under demanding conditions. A slip-on foam windscreen is included to minimize pops, plosives, and breath noise.
