Sennheiser DANTE KIT MEG 14-40Ā Overview
Set the scene for smooth and clearly structured meetings and discussions with theĀ Dante-Kit MEG 14-40 BasicĀ fromĀ Sennheiser. Included in the kit is an SL DI 4 XLR four-input Dante preamp and interface, four black MAT 133 table stands, and four MEG 14-40 gooseneck microphones.
Equipped with KE 10 capsules, the microphones feature a directional cardioid polar pattern and yield a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz for high speech intelligibility. Each mic connects to the SL DI 4 XLR four-input Dante preamp and interface for wireless microphone receivers via a standard 3-pin XLR cable (available separately). As an analog-to-digital audio converter, the SL DI 4 XLR allows adding analog microphone systems to a Dante system. The SL DI 4 XLR is compatible with all Sennheiser wireless microphone receivers.
Sennheiser SL DI 4 XLR Four Input Dante Preamp & Interface
TheĀ SL DI 4 XLRĀ fromĀ SennheiserĀ is a four input Dante preamp and interface for wireless microphone receivers with mic/line inputs to a Dante system. It can be mounted and used almost anywhere close to audio sources and minimizing interference-prone analog wiring in wireless applications.
Featuring four balanced mix/line inputs, each with software-selectable 48V phantom power and different gain levels, the interface provides front-panel LED indicators for showing each channel’s gain and phantom power status, which makes for easy troubleshooting.
Plus, it has two network connections to allow Dante Daisy Chaining. This allows you to have multiple SL DI 4 XLR units and use a single Cat-5 home-run connection to a network switch for daisy chaining power. The unit is powered by either an external 12 VDC or any PoE (Power over Ethernet) network switch. All adjustable parameters such as mic/line gain and phantom power are software controlled.
Sennheiser MAT 133 Table Stand (Black)
The blackĀ MAT 133 Table StandĀ byĀ SennheiserĀ is for connecting and operating XLR gooseneck microphones. It is used in audio applications such as in lectures, boardrooms, meeting rooms, and more. The MAT 133 is built rugged and provides an XLR-3F microphone in and an XLR-3M microphone output. This stand uses 24 to 48V phantom power. It is compatible with the MEG and MZH series goosenecks.
Sennheiser MEG 14-40 Gooseneck Microphone (XLR 3-Pin)
TheĀ Sennheiser MEG 14-40Ā is a 15.7ā gooseneck microphone designed to provide intelligible speech reproduction for lectures, conferences, meetings, and houses of worship. It features an XLR 3-pin connector, which is compatible with most standard microphone preamps.
Its KE 10 capsule features a directional cardioid polar pattern and yields a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz. RF shielding protects against interference from wireless devices, giving you a cleaner signal. The flexible 15.7ā gooseneck allows precise placement in front of the spokesperson. No batteries are needed to power the MEG 14-40; it operates on 12 to 48V phantom power.
