Add two fast, high-capacity 2.5″ U.2 SFF-8639 NVMe SSDs to your desktop computer with the Fusion Dual U.2 SSD PCIe Card from Sonnet, which fits into a full-height, full-length PCIe 3.0 x16 slot on your host Windows, Mac, or Linux system. This card operates electrically at PCIe 3.0 x8, so each drive receives four lanes of PCIe 3.0 bandwidth, which allows for read speeds of up to 6250 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6000 MB/s in RAID 0. If you don’t need the performance boost of RAID 0, RAID 1 is available, which provides data redundancy, as are non-RAID modes.

The Fusion Dual may also be used in external Thunderbolt enclosures with a full-height, full-length PCIe 3.0 x16 slot at speeds up to 2750 MB/s. Intel and M1 Mac users may use the Fusion Dual with Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt 3, while Windows and Linux users will need Thunderbolt 3.

Simple and S.M.A.R.T
NVMe compliance ensures that integrating a Fusion Dual U.2 SSD PCIe Card into your system is easy, as the necessary drivers are installed automatically. The Fusion card uses your computer’s built-in drive formatting utilities to format the SSDs. SSD health monitoring is supported through S.M.A.R.T.
