Sony LTX1500G is perfectly design and tested by Sony exhausted qualification to meet up the rapidly growing data storage situations. Sony has utilize most advanced, small, and thin layer coating method with use of especially fine metal particles and creates a smoother base film surface that is able to increase 1,280 data tracks, 846M long tape, and 12.65mm wide. Excellent base film quality and reliable durability improved massive data storage capacity with 1.5TB native and 3TB compressed with excellent data transfer speed of 140MB/Sec native and 280MB/Sec compressed (2:1 Compression). Sony improved data protection in LTO5 tape format with the WORM (Write Once Read Many) functionality that able to protect compliance regulatory data and prevent archival from overwriting, erasing, and tampering. AES the hardware based 256-bit data encryption also prevents data from loss and protect data during very intense and tough data transfer procedures from LTO Ultrium 5 tape drive to LTX1500G storage cartridge. Sony advance servo system is design for accurate and stable read, writes data, and enhances the overall performance.
