Support for Apple ProRes 4444, 422 (HQ), 422 and DNxHD 220x and 145 at variety of frame rates

The CBK-55PD codec board provides additional support for Apple ProRes and DNxHD with the PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 CineAlta cameras. This includes ProRes 4444 12-bit Full HD at 23.98P, 24P, 25P and 29.97P. ProRes 422 (HQ), ProRes 422, DNxHD 220x and DNxHD 145 at a variety of frame rates are also supported.

CBK-55PD must be fitted at a Sony Service Centre (installation fee may apply). Firmware update V5.0 is also required.

ProRes 4444

Supports ProRes 4444 12-bit Full HD at 23.98P, 24P, 25P and 29.97P.

ProRes 422 (HQ) and ProRes 422

Supports ProRes 422 (HQ) 10-bit Full HD and ProRes 422 10-bit Full HD at 23.98P, 24P, 25P, 29.97P, 50i, 59.94i, 50P and 59.94P.

DNxHD 220x and DNxHD 145

Supports DNxHD 220x 10-bit Full HD and DNxHD 145 8-bit Full HD at 23.98P, 25P, 29.97P, 50i and 59.94i.

The ProRes and DN x HD Codec Board from Sony provides additional support for Apple ProRes and DNxHD with the PMW-F55, PMW-F55LIVE, and PMW-F5 CineAlta cameras. This codec board supports ProRes 4444 12-bit Full HD, ProRes 422 (HQ) 10-bit Full HD, ProRes 422 10-bit Full HD, DNxHD 220x 10-bit Full HD, and DNxHD 145 8-bit Full HD at a variety of frame rates. Camera firmware update version 5.0 or higher is required.
The CBK-55PD Codec Board supports the following recordings with the PMW-F55 and PMW-F5 cameras: ProRes 4444 12-bit Full HD at 23.98P, 24P, 25P and 29.97P: ProRes 422 (HQ) 10-bit Full HD and ProRes 422 10-bit Full HD at 23.98P, 24P, 25P, 29.97P, 50i, 59.94i, 50P and 59.94P; DNxHD 220x 10-bit Full HD and DNxHD 145 8-bit Full HD at 23.98P, 25P, 29.97P, 50i and 59.94i.
