The 2-Channel 3G-SDI/HDMI H.264 IPTV Video Streaming Encoder from Thor is a compact, dual-channel unit that features two HDMI and two 3G-SDI inputs for digital video sources up to 1080p60 and an IP output up to 1080p30. It offers front panel control with an LCD display to show settings and functions being accessed, but it can also be controlled using MNS (managed network services) via one of the unit’s two RJ45 ports. The other RJ45 port is for IP streaming and it supports UDP, RTP (unicast and multicast), and HLS protocols. The device supports H.264 video encoding with low latency and a bit rate of 2 to 14 Mb/s.
