Quickly expand your home network’s coverage by adding the TL-WPA7617 AV1000 Powerline Access Point Module from TP-Link to your existing Gigabit powerline system. Designed to work with TP-Link powerline adapters units, this HomePlug AV2-compliant module plugs into a 3-prong U.S. wall outlet to reliably transfer data up to 1 Gb/s over 1000′ using your home’s electrical wiring. In addition to having a Gigabit Ethernet port for fast connections to computers, smart TVs, and other wired devices, this module also provides 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity to hard-to-reach places.

Simply place the TL-WPA7617 where you need network coverage and press the pairing buttons on both it and the base adapter module to pair them. Up to 1200 Mb/s may be transferred over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands with compatible devices, and the system can be integrated into existing OneMesh wireless networks. Your data connection is secured with 128-bit AES, WEP, WPA-PSK, and WPA2-PSK encryption. The TL-WPA7617 supports the IEEE 1901, 802.3/3u/3ab wired standards along with 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless protocols. Its configuration software is designed to work with Windows, Mac, and Linux computers.

By using compatible devices to provide far-reaching wireless coverage with a unified mesh network, you can enjoy fast and stable Wi-Fi connections using a single network ID (SSID) as you roam from room-to-room.
Efficient Wireless Connectivity
With 2×2 MIMO and beamforming technologies, the TL-WPA7617 reliably communicates simultaneously with multiple wireless devices over long distances.
Plug-and-Play Design
Simply plug the module into a wall socket at the desired location, then pair it with the base module, and you’re ready to connect devices. Your network name and password are automatically copied from the compatible router to help create a mesh network and will synchronize if you make changes to your network settings.
Smart Management
Use the tpPLC app for Android and iOS to monitor your powerline speed in real-time, control the LED lights, and configure a guest network login.
