The MTX3-88-SE 8×8 4K Seamless Matrix Switcher/Scaler from Kramer is a high-performance video processing matrix with seamless switching and scaling for HDBaseT and HDMI signals, delivering resolutions at up to 4K60 4:4:4. The unit features eight HDMI inputs, nine HDMI outputs, an HDBaseT 3.0 input, and two mirrored HDBaseT 3.0 outputs as well as four 5-pin block ports for balanced stereo line-level outputs that facilitate audio de-embedding.

Flexible multiview processing and USB routing and extension are supported by the MTX3-88-SE as well as bidirectional infrared extension and intelligent EDID processing. Installation is a breeze thanks to the single-cable connectivity for HDBaseT signals and PoE (Power over Ethernet) power distribution. The sturdy aluminum enclosure also offers a single power mains connection.

High-resolution flexible multi-view processor, simultaneously displaying dual quad-view presentations each from four inputs, or quad dual-view presentations each from two inputs, concurrently mirrored on dual remote displays.
Seamless Switching
Clean and instantaneous switching between inputs with smooth and uninterrupted transition between presented content on displays, which greatly enhances the presentation experience.
High-Performance Scaling

Intelligent EDID handling, processing, locking, and passthrough algorithm ensures plug-and-play operation for HDMI source and display systems.
Flexible USB Routing and Extension
USB 2.0 signals extension are flexibly routed between HDBaseT input and output links, enabling a remote active USB host connection to the remote USB devices connected to the routed HDBaseT extender endpoint, such as camera and audio devices, in parallel to its locally connected USB devices transmitter or receiver side, such as HID (Human Interface Devices) mouse or keyboard devices.
Audio De-Embedding
The digital audio signal passing through to the selectable outputs is de-embedded, converted to an analog signal, and sent to the stereo balanced analog audio output. This enables playing the audio on a locally connected professional audio system (such as DSP) and speakers, in parallel to playing it on the speakers connected to the AV acceptor device (such as TVs with speakers).
