Aiphone IX-EAĀ Overview
Designed for their IX Series, which is a peer-to-peer video intercom with SIP capability, theĀ IX-EA IP Video Door StationĀ fromĀ AirphoneĀ connects to your network using a Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable and receives power via 802.3af PoE. It features a 1/3″ CMOS sensor with a 1.23MP camera that can be vertically adjusted -8, 0, or 13Ā°. Audio and video can be captured using the microSD card slot that supports media from 4 to 32GB. Video can be streamed to third-party devices using ONVIF Profile S or RTSP.
The IX-EA can be programmed to call up to 20 different stations with three different call-level selections. The station has a 600-ohm output that can be used for paging or communication. There is one contact output that can be programmed to trigger during door release when the 600-ohm output is used or based on the status of the station. There is one input that can be used to trigger an outgoing call or answer a call/page. Sound files can be uploaded for custom messages to be played during certain functions (door release, call placed, communication start, error message, etc.). The station has audible and visual indications for calling, communication, and door release.
