The SS2GD8ip is a L2 plus PoE managed gigabit switch that supports 8 10/100/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation, auto-MDIX Ethernet ports and Power over Ethernet to IEEE 802.3af compliant devices, It is equipped with 6 giga TP ports and 2 of which are dual media ports.

The switch implements the SNMP, web UI and CLI management interface. In addition, the switch implements the QoS (Quality of Service), MAC filtering policy, port mirror, VLAN, Q-in-Q VLAN, ACL, IP-MAC-port binding and full L2 protocol. It is suitable for workgroups or LAN edge application.

The switch also supports power saving for reduction of power consumption using a green power management technique. Switch power is saved by auto detecting idle clients and cable length to provide different power.
