Its four RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports have an aggregate throughput of 4GB, which is managed by a Broadcom BCM5719 controller that helps to optimize power efficiency and performance for virtualization, security, server consolidation, network segmentation, and other high-bandwidth applications. Advanced features include Large Send and Receive offload capability, TCP checksum and segmentation, VLAN tagging, MSI-X, and jumbo frames in addition to virtualization features such as VMware NetQueue and Microsoft VMQ.
