The AVer CAM520 PRO is an easy-to-use PTZ USB camera that brings full 1080p high-definition image quality to your video conferences in medium and large meeting rooms. With plug-and-play operation, it quickly connects to virtually any Windows, Mac, or Chromebook desktop or laptop computer via a single USB cable, so you can get started right away.

The CAM520 PRO is compatible with all your favorite communication apps including Teams, Skype, BlueJeans, Cisco Webex, Google Hangouts, and more. With a Sony Exmor sensor, an 82° angle of view, smooth pan/tilt/zoom (PTZ), auto framing, auto focus, and true WDR backlight compensation, the camera captures details with pin-sharp clarity at every focal length—helping to improve the quality and productivity of distance meetings and distance-learning sessions for all participants.

The included IR remote control allows you to adjust pan, tilt, and zoom positions, as well as tweak other settings, at the press of a button. Up to 10 position presets can be stored and recalled via the remote control. In-depth parameter settings and image adjustments can also be made with the PTZApp application (free download available separately) installed on your Windows or Mac computer.

Network connectivity via Ethernet allows for live streaming of your video to cloud-based platforms such as YouTube and Facebook Live or your in-house streaming network. It also allows administrators to remotely control and set up the CAM520 PRO via a web browser or centralized management software.

The CAM520 PRO can sit on your desk or other flat surface. It can also be permanently mounted on a wall using the included bracket (or on a ceiling with the optional ceiling-mount bracket). A standard 1/4″-20 threaded screw allows you to mount the camera on a tripod. There is a Kensington slot to lock the unit and prevent its unauthorized removal from your conference room.

10 Camera Presets

The CAM520 PRO allows you to customize your meetings by storing up to 10 PTZ camera presets via RS-232 VISCA or UVC (USB video class). The presets are easily accessed with one touch of the IR remote, saving you time and providing flexibility to swiftly move the focus of the camera to predetermined locations in your conference room.

IP-Based Management and Live Streaming to YouTube and Facebook Live

The Ethernet port lets you easily send live video content from the CAM520 PRO via cloud-based platforms like YouTube and Facebook Live or your on-premise streaming-delivery network using an H.264 RTSP/RTMP stream. You can also use the AVer IP Finder app (free download available separately) to find the camera on your network and make a connection through the browser to remotely configure and control the camera.
