AVPro Edge 2-Channel Dante Amplifier

This 2-Channel Dante Amplifier from AVPro Edge combines a dual-channel local audio power amplifier and Dante Audio/AES67 decoder in one unit, delivering 25W at 4 ohms and 12.5 W at 8 ohms. It supports sampling rates of 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz with 16-, 24-, and 32-bit word lengths, encoded as either Dante Audio or AES67 format. Dante Audio data, encrypted for security, enters through the designated RJ45 network port and undergoes decoding into analog signals, which are then output through secured 2-pin terminal block connectors for speaker-level signals and a 5-pin terminal block connector for line-level audio.

Powered by Audinate’s latest Ultimo chip, the unit effortlessly handles two Dante plug-and-play audio flows with minimal latency and precise synchronization in microseconds and offers the flexibility of cascading line-out signals to additional analog amplifiers from a single Dante endpoint, enhancing scalability.

A mini OLED screen displays crucial status information such as model, firmware version, LAN IP address, Dante IP address, and current volume settings. Users can customize the display to remain off during discrete operation. Remote API changes, including muting, volume lock, and balance adjustments, are facilitated through TCP/IP and RS-232 controls. Featuring a compact form factor, this unit offers convenient placement options.
