  • Advanced defense mechanisms such as dynamic Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) inspection, IP Source Guard, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) snooping, help to detect and block network attacks. When combined, these protocols may be referred to as IP-MAC port binding (IPMB).
