Its dual WAN ports allow you to establish a second connection for backup or to increase bandwidth and balance traffic. The RV042 features 4 10/100 built-in switch ports so you can connect up to 4 computers and create a local network in addition to the wide area network.

The Cisco RV042 supports up to 50 VPN connections so that remote employees or branch offices can connect securely to your main office.
