The OX-1 Visual Presenter and Writing Board Bundle from Elmo includes a visual presentation camera system and a folding, dry-erase-compatible whiteboard. The presentation camera features an 8MP sensor and can output either Full HD or 720p. The whiteboard has a matte finish and makes a suitable background when capturing documents with the OX-1. You can write on the surface of the board with standard dry erase markers and then easily erase what you have written. The board folds for easy transportation.
The camera’s high resolution sensor permits you to zoom into the image in software, while maintaining detail. The default output is 1080p at 15 fps. When outputting video to whiteboards that are not able to display a 15 fps signal, switch the output to 720p, which runs at 30 fps.
Elmo OX-1 Visual Presenter
The OX-1 Visual Presenter from Elmo is an on-the-go, mobile document camera about the size of an envelope. It is so compact and lightweight that it can easily be carried inside a jacket pocket or small bag. It features an 8 megapixel sensor that can capture resolutions up to 3264 x 2448 and output to Full HD at 15 fps, or 720p at 30 fps. At the heart of the OX-1 is the tiltable and movable camera head. It serves as a video camera, a webcam, and a photo camera/scanner. It has an f/2.0 lens that lets you focus in on parts of a scene from as close as 3.9 inches away.
A built-in microphone lets you use the webcam function to conduct online meetings. The camera connects to a computer over USB 2.0 for power and software control. It has a built-in LED light for illuminating your documents. It is compatible with third party software, or you can use web-based software. The software enables digital zoom so you can get closeups of your image.
