Gefen DVI KVM HDBaseT 2.0 Extender with USB & RS-232 (Sender and Receiver)

The Gefen DVI KVM HDBaseT 2.0 Extender is a sender and receiver kit that uses Gefen’s implementation of the HDBaseT 2.0 specification to extend DVI, audio, and control signals up to 495′ over a Cat 5e cable. It supports 2-way audio and DVI signals with resolutions up to 1080p and 1920 x 1200 as well as 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz 4:4:4 and 3840 x 2160 up to 60 Hz 4:2:0.

The extender supports HDCP 2.2 and HDCP 1.4 protocols so it can work with HDCP compliant equipment. USB and RS-232 support allows equipment control as well as mouse and keyboard over the the Cat 5e cable run. The PoH (Power over HDBaseT) capability allows you to supply power to the receiver and to the sender over the Cat 5e cable run, sparing you the need of a power supply on the sender unit. The HDBaseT 2.0 Colligo platform provides additional features such as USB and two-way audio extension and ensures an even more robust and resilient connection than the industry-standard HDBaseT.

Supported HBR formats include Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, and DTS-HD Master Audio. USB, RS-232, and two-way L/R analog audio can be extended between the sender and the receiver to accommodate a complete workstation including keyboard, mouse, select USB peripherals, microphone, headphones, and powered speakers.

The Gefen Syner-G software, with its powerful EDID management capabilities, speeds up configuration, performs real-time performance audits via Link Monitoring, and simplifies in-field firmware updates.
