The Gefen GEF-3GSDI-16416-PB simplifies the process of routing up to sixteen SDI input sources to any of sixteen SDI locations without losing quality or resolution. Each input source can be a device using SDI, HD-SDI, or 3G-SDI. The GefenPRO GEF-3GSDI-16416-PB 16×16 3GSDI Matrix provides a reliable and highly effective method of streamlining any installation using multiple sources and outputs. Each SDI source is accessible at all times from any location using the front-panel buttons, the included IR Remote Control unit, a built-in RS-232 interface, and IP control. The GefenPRO 16×16 3GSDI Matrix features dual power supplies to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operation. If a failure should occur in one of the power supplies, the other power supply will take over to prevent a loss of power to the Matrix.
How It Works
The GefenPRO 16×16 3GSDI Matrix has 16 3G-SDI inputs and 16 3G-SDI outputs. Connect 16 sources to the 3G-SDI BNC input ports on the GefenPRO 16×16 3GSDI Matrix. Connect the GefenPRO 16×16 3GSDI Matrix outputs to each SDI location. Plug in the two power cords and power ON the GefenPRO 16×16 3GSDI Matrix. The SDI sources will be routed to the destination(s) according to the selection made.
