HighPoint SSD7202 Overview

Boost your computer system’s storage, performance, and security by installing the HighPoint SSD7202 M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 RAID Controller into an available PCIe 3.0 x8 or x16 slot. The controller supports two M.2 NVMe solid-state drives up to 2280 form factor and can be configured for RAID 0, 1, or a single disk for transfer speeds up to 7000 MB/s. You can also boot directly from the installed drives in Linux and Windows in multiple modes. The controller’s low-profile bracket, along with its integrated fan and heatsink, make it ideal for compact server solutions and workstations.

Compact RAID Solution
This low-profile RAID controller installs into an available PCIe 3.0 x8 or x16 slot and supports up to two M.2 NVMe solid-state drives in RAID 0, 1, and single drive configurations.
High-Speed Data
The SSD7202 takes full advantage of the PCIe 3.0 bandwidth to deliver up to 7000 MB/s transfer speeds.
Two-Stage Cooling
The aluminum heatsink and integrated low-noise fan help to maintain optimal performance during sustained loads.
Multiple Boot Modes
The SSD7202 supports three boot modes:

  • Rapid-Boot uses RAID striping technology to minimize boot-up time while maximizing transfer performance.
  • Secure-Boot manages a hidden, automated backup of the boot drive by utilizing mirroring technology.
  • Multi-boot allows the NVMe SSDs to work as separate drives, each capable of hosting a different operating system.
