HP DesignJet T930 printer – the perfect A0 wide format printer for busy Architectural, Engineering, Construction, GIS & CAD users producing mid to high volume ouput. This machine is available in three models – T930 non-postscript printer (shown here), T930PS postscript printer and T930PS postscript with encrypted hard drive.

With a print speed fo 21 secs per A1, the T930’s integrated stacker, 64GB virtual memory (file processing) and 320GB hard drive mean that this large format printer will easily handle the high print volumes and busy workflow of a shared networked office, while the 6 inks will give improved grey scales and present superb prints every time.

Opting for Adobe PostScript^® –  Postscript is the Adobe licensed software to interpret PDFs into print language.  When printing PDFs on non-PS devices this is done via third party software which may infringe slightly on quality and colour representation.  We recommend with the HP T930 six colour device of this type choosing the PS version.

The T930 has a 6 colour ink system offering both accurate technical drawings and high quality, high resolution presentation graphics for short term display (as with most CAD/technical printers, the ink system is ‘dye based’, so while the print quality is fantastic, the prints are not designed for very long term display). The standard 4 colours plus the additional grey and photo black achieve precise line accuracy, with dark, dense blacks, and exceptional greyscales.

The HP T930 plotter will offer high quality high speed printing while the intergated T930 top stacker can collate 50 flat prints to further improve and streamline your worklfow.  The cleverly designed HP T930 front dispaly panel works like a smartphone, letting you easily swipe through to navigate the intuitive user interface on the touchscreen.

With estimated ink usage from approx 0.3ml for an A0 CAD drawing (mt²), the HP T930 is efficient and low cost to run. See the ‘Brochures’ tab for a chart of estimated ink usage for the HP T930 printer.

The HP T930 has a huge 64GB processing memory and 320Gb hard drive, offering an impressive print speed of 21 seconds for an A1 print with a guaranteed minimum line width of 0.07mm.

INKS – The HP T930 plotter has a six colour ink system with Matte Black, Phot Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Grey.  The T930 printer comes with a set of introductory ink cartridges in the box ready for you to start printing straight away and the replacement HP 727 ink cartridges are available in the following capacities.

The HP T930 is a dynamic security enabled printer which is only intended to be used with cartridges using an HP original chip. Cartridges using a non-HP chip may not work, and those that work today may not work in the future.

CONNECTION – If you order your machine with GDS, we send you a free HP data cable kit containing the necessary Ethernet cable should you wish to connect your new HP T930 straight to your network.  The pack will also contain a USB cable but this item is not required.  Although the HP T930 printer is Wifi enabled, we recommend cable connection for printing wide format plans to assist with speed and quality.

PAPER – Again, if you choose to order your new HP T930 printer with us, we will send you a free 90gsm Matt Coated Paper roll – 841mm x 45mt to get you started. The HP T930 takes paper rolls from 297mm up to the full width 914mm with 841mm (true A0 sheets size) being the most popular choice for printing A0.  Rolls are available in lengths up to 90mts to save changing the roll so often.   This list is not exhaustive and only shows the full width A0 rolls so if you are after something specific or a smaller size, give us a call on 01625 613548 and we’ll be happy to help.

WARRANTY – A standard HP 2 year on-site parts and labour warranty will give peace of mind for anyone wanting the reassurance of HP on-site support with their HP T930.
