The HP StorageWorks Ultrium 920 Tape Drive is the highest capacity, fastest performance half-height tape drive in the StorageWorks family based on HP’s third generation LTO technology. The Ultrium 920 delivers a compressed storage capacity of 800 GB per data cartridge and a compressed data transfer rate of 432 GB per hour, two and a half times faster than the previous generation Ultrium 448 tape drive. Multiple drive models are available for the compact, half-height Ultrium 920 Tape Drive including internal, external, and 1U rack-mount model. The Ultrium 920 Tape Drive is fully read and write compatible with all second-generation Ultrium media and offers further investment protection through its backward-read compatibility with first-generation Ultrium media.
As is standard with all HP tape drives, HP StorageWorks Data Protector Express Single Server Edition backup/recovery software and the HP StorageWorks Data Protector Express Bare Metal Disaster Recovery option is included with each drive model, as well as support for HP StorageWorks One-Button Disaster Recovery (OBDR) and HP StorageWorks Library and Tape Tools (L&TT).
