GDT8xy4RZ – A complete Family

GDT8xy4RZ is a family of 64-bit/66MHz PCI Ultra320 SCSI RAID controllers. There are versions with one and with two external Ultra320 SCSI channels. The controllers feature multiple RAID level support, for example RAID 0/1 for mirroring, or they offer full RAID 0, 1, 4, 5, 10 functionality. They have either no, an optional upgradable or full ICP Battery Backup Unit.

GDT8x14RZ is the 1-channel RAID controller with the functionality of a 2-channel RAID controller. It has both, an internal channel and another independent channel for external use. GDT8x14RZ is ideally suited for blade, rackmount and enterprise servers. Its compact design allows GDT8x14RZ to be used even in low profile systems.
