Featuring the Kramer VSM-4x4A 4×4 HDMI Matrix Switcher/Multi-Scaler. This quality made seamless matrix switcher from Kramer also has the ability to be used as a video wall driver (2×2 or 1×4) or as a dual and quad multi-viewer. The unit offers a glitch-free frame-to-frame switching that allows switching between inputs, with a super crisp video cut. It will support HDMI resolutions with deep color up to 1080p, up to 8 channels of audio, and includes HDCP and EDID settings per each port. There are 4 HDMI inputs on the back panel as well as 4 scaled HDMI outputs, that utilize Kramers PixPerfect Scaling Technology which is a precision pixel mapping and high quality scaling technology that will perfectly upscale or down scale resolutions as needed. Another added benefit is found in the varied selectable operation modes – Seamless matrix switcher (seamless or independent setup), video wall (2×2 or 1×4 configuration), dual display (Split/PIP/POP) or quad display. Making this an ideal device for use in conference room presentations, advertising applications, digital signage, security applications, video-wall scaling, or any type of setup that could require the need for 4 scalers in a single 1RU rack space.

The VSM-4x4A offers a wide range of varied control options as well. Users can control the device directly through the front panel buttons, by RS-232 serial commands transmitter (a touch screen system, PC or other serial controller), through the included IR remote, or via the Ethernet with built-in Web pages. When used as a video wall driver users can choose from multiple aspect ratios from Full, 4:3, 16:9 and best fit, as well as bezel correction options. There are 4 preset memory locations to allow for each operation mode to have quick access to common In-Out configurations.
