System installers in need of a DSP matrix with flexible routing options will be impressed with the LD Systems ZONE X 1208, a hybrid architecture DSP matrix with 12 inputs and 8 outputs that allows users to adapt to different installation requirements via templates. The system features twelve balanced mic/line inputs with low-noise microphone preamplifiers and individually controlled 48V phantom power as well as eight balanced line outputs. Additionally, there are eight GPI and eight GPO logic ports, which can be used for automated processes and the integration of third-party devices.

The ZONE X 1208 is easy to set up and manage via Ethernet with the universal software Xilica Designer (macOS/Windows), providing an overview of all connections and settings. The additional Remote bus connection allows for future deployment of optional remote panels and paging microphones. An Ethernet + Dante card with 64 x 64 channels can be installed as an upgrade option for audio over IP applications.
